The team at IPM would like to send a hearty congratulations to our very own Mr. Denis O’Connell!
In early May, Denis was notified that he had been anonymously nominated for the Greater Oshawa Chamber of Commerce’s 2016 Business Person of the Year. The award recipient must be someone that excels in all areas of business and displays leadership within the community. Denis was required to provide the Awards Committee with a personal biography and attend an interview with the selection panel.
We are thrilled to announced that Denis has been successfully short-listed as one of only two finalists for this prestigious award!
The Greater Oshawa Chamber of Commerce’s 21st Annual Business Excellence Awards will take place on Thursday, September 22nd at Tosca Banquet Hall & Conference Centre in Whitby and the final award winner will be announced that evening.
As Denis continues his transition to retirement, we can’t think of a more esteemed honour than Business Person of the Year or a more deserving recipient. It would be a lovely cap to his decades’ long career and all he has accomplished to date. The team at IPM are proud to have this man as our Vice President and will be in attendance at the big event to show our support. Fingers crossed!
