Cavan Hills Veterinary Services is a modern and spacious veterinary hospital built to supplement an existing aging facility. The new 8,000 sf two storey building was constructed on 11 acres and includes a retention pond. The construction scope also included a new well, cistern, water filtration center and septic system to support both buildings. An expansive parking lot was also required to support this busy, 24/7 veterinary practice. The lower floor of the hospital includes over 1,400 sf of waiting and retail space, 6 exam rooms, a dental surgery suite, surgery suite, X-Ray room, isolation room, cat and dog wards and 7 kennels. Everything is within view from a centralized operations management room. The second floor include a data and call center, break room, office and a large 420 sf boardroom. The allowable constructable area was maximized via an expansive 335’ retaining wall to protect the surrounding environmental areas. With excellent planning and coordination, the existing facility remained open and fully operational during construction.

The Bartlett Independent Retirement Residence is a 139,000 sf seniors apartment building offering 129 modern and spacious individual suites with one or two bedrooms and dens. The suites include full kitchens, floor to ceiling windows, multiple washrooms and Juliet balconies. The development also includes a 7,000 sf ground floor Seniors Medical Centre, a 3,656 sf dining area, patio, fitness centre and other amenities. Underground parking is available for approximately 48 cars as well as additional surface parking.
