Peterborough Fire Station No. 3

IPM was hired to oversee the conversion of a former car dealership for the purpose of providing a new Fire Station. The project consisted of interior renovations of the existing building to accommodate training and emergency operations spaces as well as a new addition to house a three (3) bay fire vehicle garage, fire fighter resting rooms, kitchen/lounge and exercise space. IPM managed the development of the project from the planning stages thorough to construction and occupancy of the new facility.

Regent Theatre Renovation

Client: University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT)
Completion Date: September 2010

This project involved the interior renovation of a heritage theatre to be transformed into a 700 seat lecture hall with the capability of holding musical performances. The work involved a large-scale hazardous materials abatement, structural upgrades for audio, video, lighting and rigging equipment, the restoration of the ornate plaster ceilings and the complete renovation of the theatre space. Construction commenced in early July and the grand opening speech was conducted by the President of UOIT on September 9, 2010.
